By Road
A1 Heading North
Take the exit from the A1 into Alnwick town centre. Do not turn off the main road and continue through the town centre. As you climb the bank out of the town you be on the B6341. This is a very straight road for about three miles. At the end of the straight, go over the cross roads and then take your first right signed to Lemmington. Head down the road and as soon as you have passed over the cattle grid and under the disused railyway bridge turn left. You are now on the private road to The Granary.

A1 Heading South
Take the exit from the A1 into Alnwick town centre.

By Train
Alnwick is the nearest train station to the cottage at only 5 miles. The easiest way from the station to the cottage is then by local taxi.   Local Taxi Number 01665 570 ???

Edinburgh to Alnwick takes approx 1 hour
