Bedrooms / Bedding

There are three separate bedrooms:
1 x Kingsize with ensuite shower, WC and basin.
1 x Double (shown in picture)
1 x Twin
All bedding is provided and there is no additional cost for laundry. This is
included in the price.
Washing Machine
There is a washer dryer in the utility room. Washing powder is provided.

Lounge
The lounge has a four seater sofa and two armchairs.
There is also a colour tv and DVD player and a small selection of dvd's.
A small library provides ample reading.
Kitchen Facilities
The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric range, fridge / freezer and
dishwasher.
In addition there are 12 sets of crockery, cutlery and glassware.
The blue mugs are every day mugs and can be used outside.
Please do not take any glassware into the garden in case the glass breaks.
Children and pets play in the garden and we would hate anyone to get cut.
We have provided a full range of plastic wear including plastic wine glasses
and picnic wear.
In addition, there is a very well stocked selection of recipe books which
will delight any cook.
Heating and Electricity
All electricity and heating is included in the price. The heating is set to
twice daily and is controlled by thermostat at the stairs. Full instructions are
available in the cottage.
Outdoor Wear
There are spare sets of waterproofs incase of inclement weather. Please feel
free to use them.
Parking
There is sufficient parking for two cars - one at the side of the house and
one at the front.
Pets
Pets are welcome as long as they remain in the kitchen so there are no muddy
paws on the carpets. The kitchen is very warm and the radiator can be left on if
they are wet.
In the cupboard under the sink there are spare drinking and feeding bowls
plus a few toys and some spare dog blankets.
Pet food is available from the garage shop at Powburn.

Owl House
At the end of the building there is an owl house. If you are lucky, you will
see the owls flying to and from the nest at dusk. Learn how to 'Owl Hoot' and
you'll hear them call back.
