The Granary Overthwarts Holiday Cottage The Granary Overthwarts, whilst
located in rural Northumberland, is only 3 miles from historic Alnwick.
Overthwarts used to be a working farm until 2006 when the farmhouse and
buildings were converted. The Granary is most desirable with stunning views
over the whole of the Edlingham Valley including the castle ruins and disused
viaduct. The picture above is taken from the front door of the cottage.
Pets Pets are not only welcome but actively encouraged at The Granary. Through
ramshackled gateway into the paddock is a public footpath which is perfect for
walking dogs.
Children
This is the perfect location for children as
the Granary is located 1/2 mile along a private track and well away from any
road traffic. At the bottom of the paddock there is a small brook perfect for
picnics and exploration.
